The problem

Lauriane founded La Patte Tendre around canine massage. It is hands-on work, done alone: every hour spent behind a screen is an hour taken from the animals and their owners. And everything still had to be built:

  • No website, no online visibility: people simply could not find her.
  • Booking done by hand: slots lived in three places at once (the paper diary, the booking tool and Google Calendar), copied and double-checked manually.
  • A constant worry at the back of her mind: whatever happens, do not miss an appointment.
02

What it was costing

Build the site herself?

“I would not have been capable of it, it is nowhere near my skill set.”

Lauriane, La Patte Tendre

And free two-click builders produce sites that are badly hosted, badly ranked, and never found. For a sole trader, that is a double penalty:

  1. An online presence that did not reflect the seriousness of the work behind it.
  2. Administrative time that cannot be invoiced: entering every appointment three times ate into each day, and one copying error could cost a client.
03

What we built

A complete online presence, sized (and budgeted) for a sole trader:

  • A professional custom website, with search visibility worked on deliberately: La Patte Tendre is now easy to find, and the Google Maps listing points to the site.
  • Her YouTube channel embedded on the home page, alongside the contact form.
  • The newsletter wired into Brevo, with sign-up requiring no intervention: a channel Lauriane cares about, which builds engagement and keeps clients coming back.
  • Online booking with Setmore, chosen on the free plan to fit the budget and picked for its smooth, fast and intuitive booking journey, synchronised with Google Calendar: a client books, and the event creates itself in the shared diary.
  • Maintenance that keeps up: pages added, bugs fixed, changes made on request.

The results

The paper diary has left the building:

  • A good half hour won back every day: from three places to copy between, Lauriane is down to two synchronised diaries.
  • Not a single missed appointment to date. She found her own way of working with the tool, preferring an SMS confirmation to prepayment, which also lets her ask two or three extra questions before the session.
  • A site that does its job quietly: clients find her, the newsletter runs, and the visual identity stays hers, free to evolve, because the site belongs to her.

Next step under consideration: moving the booking tool to a paid plan to fine-tune slots per service, at the pace of her growth.

“A serious company that meets its clients' expectations and understands their audience, whatever the trade. The maintenance service is available and quick to make changes when they are needed. And the site works: I simply could not have done better.”
