An audit of the whole organisation, then a roadmap costed stage by stage

In Normandy, Harmonie Nutrition Équine, an equine nutrition online retailer, ships around forty orders a day. We audited its whole organisation, from processes to IT. The result was a written account of the current state and a roadmap costed stage by stage. The first stage has been in service since October 2026.

An organisation that held together, with tools set side by side

The company sells equine nutrition products online and works out rations for its customers. Most of what it sells is bought in for resale, and some is made on site. The shop takes the orders, the business software handles invoicing, and home-made spreadsheets cover the rest.

What the audit had to do

  1. describe how the company really works, without judging it
  2. show where the bottlenecks will be as sales grow
  3. open up avenues, then cost them separately

The audit first, then a first stage chosen by the company

The audit ran from April to June 2026. The costing came afterwards, in a separate document, and the company chose its first stage in July.

  1. April – May 2026

    Listening to the team

Five interviews, from invoicing to customer follow-up, from ration calculations to production.

  2. May – June 2026

    Describing without judging

Who does what, with which tools. Each avenue ends with a question put to the company.

  3. June 2026

    Costing stage by stage

Three waves. Each line of the costing restates the need identified in the audit and what we build.

  4. 20 July 2026 · signature

    Starting with stock

Stock comes first, as the project that most quickly eases the team's daily work.

What the audit delivered

June 2026A written account of the current state

Who does what, with which tools, and where the bottlenecks will be as sales grow.

June 2026A costed roadmap

Three waves, and a separate costing for each stage.

July 2026A first stage decided

The stock management application, signed on 20 July.

Two rules set during the audit, applied ever since

The application informs, the team decides

A stock or expiry alert goes to a person, who makes the call.

Each stage is costed and decided separately

The company decides on each stage when the time comes, without committing in advance to the whole roadmap.

The next stage, a stock management application

It tracks each batch from delivery to its expiry date, and syncs with the online shop. We built it with the team from July to September, then tested every user journey. Its own case study tells the rest of the story.
